Selecting your default microphone

To select your default microphone 🎙️ from your interface app.ringover.com:

Click the headset icon 🎧 at the bottom left of your screen. A dropdown menu will appear, allowing you to select the microphone to use. Select the default audio input and output.

Windows:

Go to “Start” > “Control Panel” > “Hardware & Sound” 📢.
In the “Sound” section, select the audio output you wish to use by clicking “Set default.”
Under the “Recording” ⏺️ tab, select your microphone and click “Set default.”

Your device settings are now saved! 🎉

Mac:

In the Dock, click “System preferences” > “Sound” 📢.
Under “Output,” select your device.
Under “Input,” select your device and verify that that the input level varies when you speak into the microphone (one to several shaded squares must turn black).
