Selecting your default microphone

To select your default microphone from your interface

1/ Click the headset icon at the bottom left of your screen:


2/ A dropdown menu will appear, allowing you to select the microphone to use. Select the default audio input and output.


1/ Go to “Start” > “Control Panel” > “Hardware & Sound”.
2/ In the “Sound” section, select the audio output you wish to use by clicking “Set default.”
3/ Under the “Recording” tab, select your microphone and click “Set default.”
4/ Your device settings are now saved.


1/ In the Dock, click “System preferences” > “Sound”.
2/ Under “Output,” select your device.
3/ Under “Input,” select your device and verify that that the input level varies when you speak into the microphone (one to several shaded squares must turn black).
4/ Your device settings are now saved.
